The Kingdom of Arnhem is in turmoil as attacks from the Speicans continue. The king and queen are beginning to fatigue and the kingdom, though willing to fight, is longing for peace. Geoffrey of Siva is no different. As the king’s second champion he has special place in the royal court so when the queen has a dangerous mission, it is he who she sends. The single quest opens doors to finding allies, mystical creatures, heart ache, and perhaps even love. Intrigue and danger lurk at every corner, along with magic none of them could have expected, pushing back any chance for peace.

Knight of Glory is the second story in the Arnhem saga. It is a very medieval sort of tale with knights and honor and a few mystical creatures thrown in. It started nearly completely from Geoffrey’s view as he contemplated love and the sudden possibilities that surrounded him. A quarter of the way through, the plot went from very basic, to suddenly having more lines and characters and lands than I could hope to follow. Nicole Zoltack did an excellent job conjuring lands and their peoples. Each new addition was fascinating and unique in what they brought to the continuing tale, but it was simply too much for me. Someone who adores the Knights and ladies might find this right up their ally. The setting was fantastic, even if the story itself was too busy.
