After being dismissed by the actress Zoe Parker Dr. Cort Hirsch builds a lifelike robot in her image. After accidentally being seen shopping and having the robot mistaken for the real Zoe Parker Dr. Hirsch agrees to help Zoe Parker with her personal problems. As Cort soon learns his robot, Alpha is more human than he thinks.
This was an interesting story that was well written. Dr. Cort Hirsch is a smart man who is lost in unreturned love and when he does finally find love, it is in the most unusual place. Alpha his robot is very unique and the relationship that builds between the two is a sweet read with a good dose of humor thrown in. Fast paced and well written this book keeps the readers attention all the way to the end. Never lagging and even coming up with a few unexpected twists and turns that keeps you guessing just who the bad guy really is.

A sweet and endearing story of love lost and love found. This story will tug on your heartstrings as well as make you laugh. Dr. Herb McMillan is going away for a few months and his stand in is arriving shortly. Dr. Olivia Crane is expecting an old and distinguished gentleman as the doctors stand in but when he arrives she is surprised to find out just who he really is. Dr. Lucien Vicour- Michelet is from her past. A love she let go ten years ago. She has never forgotten Luc, no one has ever been able to make Olivia feel the same. Past mistakes and hurts have scarred Olivia. Can Luc get past the lies that separated them all those years ago? Will he dare to put his heart on the block again or will Luc decide that he cannot go through the pain again? Mona Risk writes a charming story.
Keeping the reader entertained with the twists and turns in the plot. With great characters like Luc and Olivia the reader will enjoy the world that she has built. Luc is a wonderful Hero with a great sense of fairness and loyalty and Olivia is an intelligent and wonderful heroine. The secondary characters like Olivia’s mother and daughter are just as pleasant. The emotional ride that these characters take is a hard one but worth it. If you enjoy an engaging medical romance this book is for you.
